I am not a tourist Expat Fair in Amsterdam.
BalletForExpats was invited to come to participate at the’ I am not a tourist’ Expat Fair for Internationals. This was in Amsterdam on October 7th. Here a short report.
Firstly, the fair is the biggest event for internationals in the Netherlands. It is about living and working. And also about studying in the Netherlands. The Expat Fair brought over 125 exhibitors specializing in expat life. With more than 3,000 internationals for information, orientation, and business networking.
In addition, BalletForExpats was there with an information booth. We had flyers, posters, ballet shoes, and a real tutu. Visitors were able to ask questions. And get information about our classes.

But there was also entertainment. There was a big stage in the middle of the exhibition room. On that stage, visitors could see dancing, singing, in addition to sports. There was a carefully curated program. Therefore young and old were entertained.
In other words, it was a festive day. This year’s special theme was ‘Jobs for Expats’. The theme was designed for visitors who are pursuing a career in the Netherlands. Stands with the signage “Jobs for expats” offered multilingual vacancies. Very helpful!
